Business Manager / Recruitment Consultant - IT Headhunter
Our client, a global leader in the trading industry, is actively looking for a junior C# .Net developer to join the team in Geneva.
Role Overview
As a .NET developer with a strong background in business analysis, you will play an essential role in building a new master data platform that integrates multiple applications, utilizing both internal and external data sources. Your work will involve collaborating closely with different business units and being part of a global development team. This is a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge projects and directly influence our data-driven decision-making processes.
Located in Geneva, Switzerland, your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing a unified Master Data platform to support various business applications such as locations, vessels, contracts, and more
* Conducting business analysis to identify use cases and designing solutions that meet the needs of different systems
* Collaborating with a global team of developers to enhance our analytics capabilities
* Translating user feedback into improvements and bug fixes
* Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code to address business needs
* Providing support and training to users on business applications
* Contributing to diverse projects, including systems based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data ingestion/distribution
Required Skills and Experience
* Around 5 years of hands-on experience working with C# and .NET technologies in large-scale enterprise environments
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
* Dedication to following best practices in software development
* Self-driven with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle changing priorities
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written
* French is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with GraphQL or gRPC is advantageous
* Familiarity with Reactive Extensions (RX) is a plus
* Prior experience in the commodities or trading industries is beneficial
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Knowledge of the French language is an added advantage
