MISSION
The IT Enterprise Architect position is responsible for leading the development and execution of enterprise architecture strategies that align with MKS PAMP’s overall business objectives. As a key technical thought leader, the incumbent will guide IT initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure architectural compliance with internal policies, standards, and best practices.
This role requires close collaboration with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions. The incumbent will serve as a strategic advisor to the global IS/IT organization, providing insights into industry trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
By translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language, the IT Enterprise Architect will bridge communication between technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment of technical architecture with business needs and fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Architecture & Design Governance
Lead the creation, maintenance, and management of global IT architecture, ensuring consistency across software applications, interfaces, and infrastructure components.
Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Establish and promote standardized architecture patterns and frameworks to drive consistency, reuse, and efficiency across business units.
Data Architecture & Governance
Develop comprehensive data models, data flow diagrams, and robust data governance structures.
Translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing data architecture designs.
Identify, evaluate, and propose enterprise-grade platforms for data lakes and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse).
AI/ML Strategy & Integration
Drive the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning models into enterprise systems and business processes.
Assess and recommend AI platforms and tools that provide strategic value and operational efficiency (e.g., OpenAI).
Translate business requirements into scalable AI architecture designs.
Strategic Planning & Roadmapping
Develop and manage a long-term roadmap for data and AI capabilities to support innovation, scalability, and business transformation.
Ensure data and AI strategies are fully integrated with cloud transformation initiatives and broader digital innovation goals.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business leaders, IT stakeholders, and analytics teams to align architecture decisions with business requirements and outcomes.
Work closely with cross-functional units to ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* A Master’s degree in IT or relevant engineering field is required
* A 10+ years experience working in global Trading / Finance environments, in IT Technical Architecture roles
* Proficiency in industry-standard architectural methodologies and frameworks such as TOGAF or ITIL
* Extensive experience in the design and implementation of enterprise-level technical architectures for complex IT systems and solutions.
* Competence in reviewing and approving architectural designs to ensure compliance with technical standards, policies, and procedures, while considering the specific capabilities and limitations of Azure, Huawei, Google or AWS cloud products.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Demonstrated expertise in providing high-level guidance and thought leadership in the evaluation and selection of IT technologies, software, data, AI/ML, and infrastructure components.
* Proven ability to advise and influence stakeholders on IT strategies, improvements, and innovation opportunities, utilizing cloud products for optimized and cost-effective solutions.
* Experience in managing complex global IT environments.
Strong functional knowledge of IT systems (CTRM, ERPs, Treasury, etc.).
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Technical Architecture Design - Expertise in designing robust and scalable technical architectures.
* Cloud Computing - Proficiency in leveraging cloud platforms and services.
