The Director of Global Strategic Partnerships will drive high‑level collaborations with BioPharma customers such as Novartis, Novo Nordisk and Roche (incl. Genentech). This role requires strong knowledge of the customer and Danaher Life Sciences product portfolio, managing cross‑platform commercial penetration globally to achieve revenue growth and create incremental opportunities. The Director will elevate Danaher LS’s position by influencing C‑suite and other decision makers, owning the account strategy, and reporting to the BioPharma Leader. This solutions‑oriented position is remote, with a preference for an associate located in Switzerland.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Customer Engagement: Build and develop strong customer partnerships through articulating Danaher LS’s value proposition. Orchestrate C‑Suite and senior leadership meetings, on‑site strategy visits, and technical seminars promoting Danaher’s mission and innovations.
Sales Performance: Build and own account strategy from the ground up. Collaborate with Commercial Marketing, BU, Sales and Distribution partners to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans that meet defined goals.
Leadership: Articulate Danaher LS’s value proposition to OpCo senior leaders seeking partners in the biologics space.
Funnel Management: Understand, build and manage the funnel routinely, using standard tools to communicate current and future states to leadership during report‑outs and operating company discussions.
Growth: Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top‑line revenue growth. Develop a deep understanding of the Danaher LS portfolio and the synergies between Danaher LS and the customer, including local consortium purchasing strategies.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a science‑related field.
5 years selling into large BioPharma organizations.
7+ years of commercial experience at a Life Sciences company or closely related industry.
2 years of proven success selling to VP and C‑Suite account leaders.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30‑50%.
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
