A civil officerIn order to complete its team, the Municipality of Chêne-Bougeries is offering a position for a civil officer at 80% in a fixed-term contract.Your missionAt the heart of community life, you will take care of all events related to civil matters: births, marriages, deaths, acknowledgments, and official updates, in compliance with federal legal provisions. You will prepare official documents, celebrate marriages, and provide a professional and welcoming reception at the counter, by phone, and in correspondence with municipal, cantonal, and federal authorities, as well as various institutional partners. You will play a key role in the service to the community, also establish vital statistics, process identity card requests, and issue various civil status documents.Profile requiredHolder of the federal diploma of civil officer or currently pursuing it, or in possession of a federal vocational certificate as a commercial employee or a federal diploma, or a university degree, ideally in legal studies. Willing to obtain the federal diploma of civil officer. Swiss resident or Swiss citizenship. Excellent command of French (other languages are an asset). A sense of public service, rigor, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. Proficiency in common tools. Driving license and vehicle.
