YOUR IMPACT
Under the responsibility of Corporate Finance & Investment Managers, the Analyst will:
* Support and oversee the business units and companies within the perimeter of the Group (MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and subsidiaries).
* Under the supervision of senior team members, be involved in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning, Management Reporting and overall coordination between several business units / companies.
* Improve performance of BUs by granting better visibility and collaborating with other parts of the Group.
* Support, on a need basis, on M&A activities.
Your Background
* Education in Finance or Management, Master degree.
* At least 2-3 years’ experience in a rigorous financial or management consulting analyst role.
* Strong financial analysis expertise with 2-3 years’ experience in a demanding environment (management consulting, investment bank / M&A, transaction services, Big 4 valuation or modelling teams).
* Expert in Excel modelling; ability to develop and run financial models.
* Good understanding of accounting principles.
* Knowledge in company valuation techniques.
* Has gained exposure to international transactions, environment, and culture.
* Effective written and presentation skills.
* Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind.
* Ability to work across a large organization.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
* Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects in parallel.
* Team spirit.
* Strong business ethics.
* Perfect command of both written and spoken English, a second language is a plus.
Contract Details
* Based in Geneva.
* Full Time.
* Permanent Role.
* Starting ASAP.
* The role may require exceptional travelling.
* EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit (B-C) is required.
