Join us as a Product Manager for Automotive Digital Marketplace, where you will own and evolve a key product area within AutoScout24 and MotoScout24. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end product lifecycle of private and professional seller‑facing experiences that serve customers across the marketplace ecosystem. Your mission is to identify meaningful customer problems, turn insights into clear product direction, and deliver solutions that create value for both customers and the business.
Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize opportunities for the business based on a deep understanding of our customer's needs and the market
* Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle: evaluate market trends, product metrics, and international benchmarks alongside effort, resources and risk to prioritize impactful projects and ensure the team is focused on high‑value initiatives
* Lead cross‑functional alignment across business, technical, and customer stakeholders, integrating diverse perspectives into product decisions
* Understand customer needs through research and direct interaction with customers, identifying opportunities to improve usability and satisfaction at all stages of the customer journey
* Evaluate product success using both quantitative and qualitative metrics, including beta testing and post‑launch reviews, to ensure solutions meet customer needs, define next steps and drive business results
* Maintain product quality by taking ownership of data accuracy, process efficiency, and maintaining high standards in each release
Qualifications
* Fluent in German or French and English
* +3 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven record of launching impactful products, ideally in automotive, e‑commerce or similar digital sectors
* Foster an environment where every team member feels empowered to contribute
* Proficiency in analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions. You should be familiar with A/B testing and data‑driven product management
* You are a self‑starter who takes initiative and drives clarity in ambiguous problem spaces
* Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, and comfort with making decisions independently while supporting team decision‑making
* Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and hierarchies
* Ownership mentality: eager to take accountability for delivering business and product outcomes by collaborating with stakeholders
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, related fields or equivalent practical experience
