Transforming Engineering Designs
This role requires a skilled engineer to define naming conventions for equipment and create conceptual beamlines regions. Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software is essential, as well as experience with configuration management practices.
Responsibilities
* Naming Convention Definition: Create and maintain a consistent naming system for equipment types and engineering drawings.
* Conceptual Beamline Regions: Design and implement conceptual beamlines regions using layout databases.
* Hardware Baseline Management: Develop and manage the Hardware Baseline structure, including technical documentation and change control processes.
* 3D Integration: Integrate diverse components and subsystems within the ET framework, fostering synergy and coherence across all stakeholders.
This position involves working in radiation areas and conducting interventions in underground installations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
* Experience with 3D CAD software and configuration management practices.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to learn new skills and languages.
Working Conditions:
* 40-hour workweek.
* Contract duration: 24 months with possible extension up to 36 months.
