We are looking for a committed and experienced Road Transport Specialist to join our client’s transport logistics team in Bern. In this role, you will operate a flatbed vehicle for depot routes, ensure safe cargo handling, and support dispatch operations during absences.
What You’ll Do
* Operate flatbed trucks to supply branch locations within the region
* Secure goods safely for transportation and maintain transport quality
* Take care of vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
* Step in as dispatcher during vacation coverage (approx. 12 weeks/year)
* Train apprentices as a workplace mentor
What You Bring
* Valid driver’s license category C/CE
* Friendly, reliable, and service-oriented approach
* Flexible and able to stay calm under pressure
* IT knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident with digital tools
* Experience in dispatch or strong knowledge of building materials
* Fluency in German is mandatory
