We're looking for a motivated Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in Stabio – Switzerland and ensure projects are planned, executed and documented to the highest standards.
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible to verify that projects are planned, executed and documented in accordance with established site and customer methodologies for delivering best-in-class services on capital construction projects.
Thanks to your knowledge of GMPs, you’ll ensure that projects are executed with minimal disruption to operation’s schedules. You’ll provide construction management oversight to ensure that projects are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all applicable codes and requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Delivering capital projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
* Managing projects from concept through commissioning and qualification (C&Q), ensuring compliance with methodologies, policies, best practices, and cGMP.
* Leading governance by overseeing project inception and execution, defining scope, identifying problems, requirements and options.
* Establishing project teams and developing strategy, master schedule, and spending plan, while mitigating risks to scope, budget and schedule.
* Managing reviews and contractors: stage gate, EHS, equipment evaluation, tests, approvals, and supervising contractors for safety and compliance.
* Setting up logistics and coordinating documentation: vendor selection, RFQs, bids, invoice approval, procurement, engineering, construction, C&Q, and turnover.
* Reviewing progress against schedule and cost, updating clients and management and interacting with senior management for reviews and governance.
* Ensuring construction safety and performing other duties as assigned.
Skills that you'll bring to Ellab
* 4-8 years of experience in GMP regulated environments or pharmaceutical applications, with a strong understanding of GMP and ISPE baseline.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Project.
* Excellent prioritization and scheduling skills, with a structured, well-organised and solution-oriented working style.
* Analytical and methodical thinking, with a proactive approach and openness to feedback.
* Target-oriented approach (time/deliverables)
* Ability to handle complex projects and customer relations autonomously.
* Ability to interface with client and vendor representatives
* Team-oriented with good leadership skills.
