SSM Group is seeking a
Head of Finance and IT (w/m/d) to lead our strategic and operational activities across our legal entities in Switzerland, Italy, and China. This high-impact role offers broad leadership responsibility and direct access to top BU leadership.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Lead and develop the Finance and IT teams with a total of 10 FTEs
Oversee monthly closings (IFRS & local GAAP), group reporting, budgeting & forecasting
Act as sparring partner and deputy to the Managing Director of SSM
Drive controlling across manufacturing, projects, R&D and sales
Ensure compliance, internal controls, audit readiness, and cash flow management
Champion continuous improvement in finance and business processes
Coordinate IT initiatives, pension commission, and facility management
Your Profile Degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit, with >8 years’ experience in Controlling/Finance
Deep knowledge of IFRS; hands-on with ERP (SAP/PSI), BI tools, Excel & PowerPoint
Strong leadership background (5+ years) in international environments
Skilled in manufacturing & supply chain controlling
Fluent in German and English; Italian a plus
Agile, analytical, culturally aware, and ready to challenge the status quo
