The Sports Service (SPO) is responsible for the management and maintenance of sports centers, stadiums, and municipal swimming pools. It provides numerous facilities for the citizens of Geneva and promotes sports for all through schools aimed at young people, as well as activities for adults and seniors. It also participates in and supports sports, particularly youth movements, by granting subsidies. To strengthen its team, the SPO is looking for a full-time Sports Guardian. Your mission and responsibilities:- Manage and prepare sports facilities and the surfaces available to clubs and athletes.- Perform all tasks related to reception work and cash management.- Monitor the premises to ensure the safety of the public and the protection of the site.- Provide quality service to users of the Sports Service site.- Participate in sports activities organized or co-organized by the Sports Service.- Perform any other tasks related to your role, as required by the sports centers and stadiums section.Your profile:- Hold a Vocational Certificate (CFC) as an agent or in a manual field (maintenance, cleaning, or construction).- Have experience in public reception, preferred.- Be attentive and comfortable in contact with the public.- Know how to identify the needs and requests of users, and demonstrate courtesy and tact.- Possess good knowledge of the French language, both spoken and written.- Have a driving license for light vehicles and, if possible, a machinist license.- Accept irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.- Knowledge of the Geneva sports environment is an asset.
