Freight forwarders in DSV act as a proactive interface between the customer and all relevant internal and external service providers.

Your Key Tasks Control, organize, and monitor the entire transport process (from pickup to delivery) and invoicing.
Communicate actively with customers, DSV offices/agents, sales, subcontractors, and carriers.
Accept customer orders, review shipment and order data and documents, and record these orders.
Monitor job costing and profitability.
Process vendor invoices according to instructions from the Senior Team Lead and applicable working instructions.
Resolve operational problems and issues, manage escalations according to matrix specifications.
Ensure quality by following and respecting specified processes and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Skills & Competencies Functional know-how in Air Freight.
Experience in an international environment.
Team player.
Good communication skills.
Customer focus: continuously monitor customer expectations and adapt activities/procedures accordingly.
Planning & organizing: ability to prioritize, plan, assign, and control tasks.
Time management: monitor performance against deadlines and milestones.
Knowledge and training in Good Distribution Practice concepts and applicable SOPs.
Educational Requirements Commercial apprenticeship.
Relevant work experience.
Language Skills Fluent in English and French.
German is an asset.
