The role of a System Engineer involves contributing to IT/OT projects in an international environment, providing system engineering services for our IT-OT team. This includes planning and implementing challenging IT/OT projects in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

* Leadership and responsibility for sub-projects to enhance and maintain SKAN's IT/OT infrastructure to a high standard.
">
* Collaboration with internal and external departments for error analysis and troubleshooting (2nd and 3rd level support).
">
* Managing change processes, operating environment documentation, and manuals to ensure high standards.
">
* Meeting qualification and validation requirements, conducting system tests, and documenting them.
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as extensive knowledge of designing, setting up, and troubleshooting company-wide IT-OT server infrastructures.
">
">
* Designing, setting up, and troubleshooting company-wide IT-OT server infrastructures.
">
* Implementing business requirements for IT-OT infrastructure, especially in SME and pharmaceutical environments.
">
* Several years of professional experience in IT-OT server infrastructure/system engineering, with relevant certifications.
">
* Experience with business analysis, requirements engineering, and computer system validation.
">
* Good understanding of processes in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
">
* ITIL certification and knowledge of CS.
">
* Additional training in project management is advantageous.
">
* Proficiency in German and English.
