HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The International Commercial Data Platform Owner is a central role within the Commercial Data Domain. Acting both as owner of the BI platform (Looker) and as coordinator of commercial data initiatives, this position ensures the stability and scalability of the commercial data ecosystem while driving the structured execution of projects.
This hybrid role requires a unique blend of platform ownership, product mindset, and project management expertise. It serves as the single point of contact between business stakeholders, regional data leads, and the central data engineering team, ensuring that commercial teams can access reliable insights and that projects are delivered with rigor and efficiency.
BI Platform Ownership (Looker & related tools)
1. Govern and administer the commercial BI platform (Looker), including user access, security, and data exploration
2. Manage the platform backlog: bug fixes, enhancements, and roadmap of improvements
3. Act as liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure platform adoption, usability, and satisfaction
Project Coordination & Delivery
4. Steer project execution by driving cadence, setting timelines, and ensuring proper follow-up on deliverables
5. Structure technical briefs and translate business requests into actionable technical tasks for the engineering team
6. Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth and timely delivery
Business Partnering & Value Creation
7. Serve as the single point of contact for commercial data initiatives, coordinating across regions and central functions
8. Translate business needs into scalable solutions in collaboration with data engineers and analytics experts
9. Ensure that data projects deliver measurable business impact through reliable and consistent outputs
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
10. You have 5+ years of experience in data, BI, or analytics, with exposure to both platform/product ownership and project management
11. You possess a strong knowledge of BI platforms (preferably Looker) and data concepts (SQL, data models, access governance)
12. You have a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and coordinate between business stakeholders and technical teams
13. You have excellent communication and organization skills
14. You are fluent in English
