Job Description:
For one of our clients in the watchmaking industry, we are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst (m/w). The role is a permanent contract based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Your responsibilities:
* Overseeing all aspects of inventory management such as: Monitoring inventory levels; Analyzing data to forecast demand; Coordinating with supply chain and sales team; Implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize costs.
* Optimize inventory levels and accuracy by developing and implementing inventory control procedures and strategies.
* Improve inventory efficiency by analyzing inventory data and trends; identifying areas of improvement, such as minimizing out of collection or excess inventory.
* Estimate future inventory requirements based on historical data, sales forecasts, and industry trends.
* Management/review of purchase orders in accordance with well-defined specifications and production plan.
* Manage regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
Your profile:
* 5 to 10 years' of experience in a similar role within the FMCG, Lifestyle and/or Luxury industry.
* Experience of working in a regional or global headquarters and across international affiliates.
* High social competence and drive to work on senior level with senior leaders.
* Able to work very independently and with high motivation.
* Resilience, determination, accuracy and reliability.
* Intellectually sharp with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good level of communication skills in English and French.
