Are you technically skilled in the world of network security and driven to foster trusted technical partnerships with your peers? This opening for a Open Systems Customer Success Engineer is for you! We are currently looking for a Customer Success Engineer to help drive our customers' technical success during on‑boarding & implementation, as well as long‑term support.
Your Mission
As a Customer Success Engineer you will work in teams together with national and international organizations to design, install and operate globally deployed network security solutions. Specifically, you will analyze the needs of customers and advise, design and deploy solutions in close cooperation with the organization. This position will give you responsibility for customer projects right from the concept phase and all the way through to production deployment and operations. In addition, your task will be to interface between development and sales acting as the technical voice of your customers.
Responsibilities
* Learn Open Systems service portfolio and configuration management
* Engage with customers' technical staff to identify requirements
* Recommend best‑practice approaches and design solutions
* Set up and deploy Open Systems services in coordination with the customer
* On‑board new customers
* Provide first‑class technical support for customer requests
* Interface between development and sales
* Engage in the Mission Control organization to ensure steady operations of our entire customer base
Qualifications
* Knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems
* Understanding of networking in general and the major internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, SSH, DNS, BGP, OSPF)
* Knowledge of network security concepts and practices. Core technologies: firewalls, secure web gateways, cloud access security brokers (CASB), VPN networks, IDS and IPS, email security, zero trust network access (ZTNA), and traditional remote access
* Experience in the design and implementation of global WAN and hub network topologies (SD‑WAN)
* Highly motivated to learn new skills in training programs offered by internal domain experts and team colleagues
* Self‑motivated, proactive team player
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field or extensive experience in the field of networking and cyber security
