As Neomir continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Data Scientist to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role is more than just a regular data science job - it's a chance to lead research-oriented projects that will significantly enhance Neomir's core technology.
You will contribute significantly to the following projects:
Our pattern detection engine, a feature that we plan to launch in Q3/2025
Our LLM-based DQ Assistant engine, a feature we have launched in Q4/2024 and are continuously improving on
Any other projects in our product pipeline
Your contribution will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our product.
Requirements Education*
University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
OR comparable professional experience
OR comparable auto-didactic experience (project portfolio required)
Must-Have
Proficiency in Python, R or WebAssembly
A solid understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts
A positive, problem-solving attitude, capable of proposing innovative solutions and thinking outside the box
A proactive approach, taking initiative and ownership of projects and tasks
Passion for working in a startup environment, valuing innovation, agility, and a hands-on approach
Excellent communication skills in English or German, both verbal and written
Nice-to-Have
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Experience with prompt engineering approaches such as RAG
Familiarity with Node.js and React.js
