Job Title: HSE Specialist - Risk Management and Compliance
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team. As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
• Verify the implementation of Group strategy at coordinated sites and assist in ensuring that all necessary safety measures are in place.
• Collaborate with site teams to develop operational, health, and safety instructions and promote information exchange with the sites and the Group HSE department.
• Assist sites with HSE certification and second-party audits and manage the preparation of Periodic Safety Meetings according to article 35 of Legislative Decree 81/08.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for staff on HSE topics and identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with business operations.
• Conduct investigations into workplace injuries and incidents, determine causes, and implement preventive measures and prepare periodic reports on HSE performance.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent work experience.
• Mandatory RSPP / ASPP certificates (modules A, B, and C) and preferred SLPS safety assistant and SLPS specialist certificates.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in HSE roles and stay updated on HSE regulations, technological improvements, and safety best practices.
