The North Face EMEA is looking for an exceptional Demand and Inventory Planner Associate to join our Planning team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Role
As a Demand and Inventory Planner Associate, you will be responsible for managing all activities associated with cross-functional demand planning and an effective inventory planning aimed at achieving financial revenue objectives with optimized inventory levels and ensuring maximum efficiency. You will be part of the Planning Team, responsible for the creation and management of SKU level forecasts (total marketplace WHS+DTC) that will be the base for an In-DC plan, the main driver for our GSP Team in Singapore to create a Buy Plan. You will evaluate current performance and help define new ways of working to align with the new Operation Model, in collaboration with other functions.
Responsibilities
* Act as an active member of a team of Planners to calculate and plan demand at SKU level based on forecast, current inventory levels, open purchase orders and production constraints within a sustainable cost structure.
* Contribute to key analyses and provide direction on forecasts based on budget, sales history, sales by market and current sales orders to maximize decision making.
* Build and support the analysis of KPIs across your areas of responsibility.
* Coordinate global demand planning and share demand information with regional planning groups to achieve an effective regional In-DC Plan.
* Align with sourcing on lead time/minimums analysis and buy confirmation (shipping dates, quantities, prices) to be in line with In-DC plan data.
* Foster consensus and collaboration in the planning process by working cross-functionally to resolve any gaps between demand and capacity needs.
Skills for Success / Qualifications
* Ideally 2 years of experience in forecasting and planning activities.
* Ability to manage/mine data from multiple sources to create necessary reports and databases.
* Ability to extract conclusions from available data and “tell a story.”
* Demonstrated record of prioritizing, influencing and decision-making.
* Ability to work under pressure respecting deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
* Passion for working with numbers and an analytical mindset.
* Flexibility in thinking style and ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities can change.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or related fields is nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
