JOB PURPOSE
As a
Sports Marketing Specialist
, you will be a key player in the ASSOS Marketing team, contributing to the brand's strategic growth through authentic partnerships with Pro Teams and privateer athletes.
Based in our Stabio (Ticino) headquarters, you will work closely with cross-functional teams (Content & Campaigns, Social Media, Trade Marketing, and Sales) to build strong relationships and maximize brand visibility through impactful sports marketing initiatives.
You will help manage the full 360° scope of ASSOS's Sports Marketing efforts – from strategic partner assessments and activation planning to equipment coordination and campaign execution. This role is critical to building ASSOS brand equity and visibility in alignment with our 2026 strategy and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Strategic & Partnership Management
* Support the identification and recommendation of new teams and privateers aligned with the ASSOS brand and marketing strategy.
* Assist in negotiations (contracts, apparel packages, deliverables) alongside the Line Manager.
* Contribute to defining integrated activation and amplification plans involving athletes, teams, media, and external partners.
2.Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Execution
* Coordinate product delivery and apparel distribution for athletes, including replica gear, aligning timelines and toolkits with Sales and Trade Marketing teams.
* Collaborate with Content & Media teams to plan and execute communication activities (PR, photoshoots, social content).
* Organize and maintain a unified
Sports Marketing activation calendar
, incorporating athlete campaigns, hospitality, special rides, and events.
* Support execution of events in collaboration with the Event Specialist.
* Manage athlete relationships throughout the year, including planning for high-visibility moments (e.g., training camps, media days).
3.Performance & Process Management
* Track KPIs across campaigns and sponsorships: ROI, engagement metrics, media value, and sales impact.
* Manage the Sports Marketing budget with accuracy, ensuring proper tracking of spend and timely reporting.
* Provide regular updates to management through presentations and activity recaps.
* Ensure consistent alignment with internal teams through periodic check-ins and shared planning documents.

* Good understanding of professional cycling (road and gravel scenes).
