Noord Global are currently working with a global professional services firm who are looking to hire an experienced Audit Senior Manager to lead their team in Geneva, Switzerland. Our client's international and multicultural team manages audits of major players in the consumer, industrial and manufacturing industries.
Main responsibilities:
* Lead audits for companies headquartered in Switzerland and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups, including integrated audits under PCAOB and ISA standards for companies reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.
* Tailor the audit approach to the evolving client environment.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them effectively to client situations.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel and assess their satisfaction.
* Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the year.
* Oversee daily fieldwork, keep Senior Managers and Partners informed of engagement status, and guide team performance.
* Mentor junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters.
* Cultivate an efficient, innovative, and team -focused work environment.
* Share your insights and contribute to audit team discussions, while also being receptive to others' perspectives.
Main requirements for this role:
o Existing right to work in Switzerland or the EU is essential
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, accounting, or finance, along with a professional qualification (e.g., Swiss CPA, US CPA, or equivalent).
o A minimum of 6 years of audit experience, including 1 year of managerial experience leading international audit teams.
o Experience working with U.S. accounting standards (US GAAP) and PCAOB auditing standards.
