About the Role
As Head of Marketing, you will own the company’s global marketing strategy end-to-end and lead the entire Marketing function at Freename. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for building a high‑performing, data‑driven marketing organization capable of scaling across products, markets, and customer segments.
You will define the marketing vision, structure and execution model, ensuring strong alignment with company growth objectives, revenue targets, and long‑term brand positioning. This role requires a modern marketing leader, deeply familiar with AI‑powered tools, experimentation, and performance‑oriented decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Strategy
* Define and execute the overall marketing strategy in line with company goals and growth plans.
* Translate business objectives into scalable marketing plans across acquisition, retention, brand, and revenue enablement.
* Act as strategic marketing partner to the CEO and executive team.
Team Management & Organization
* Lead, structure, and grow the entire Marketing team (brand, content, social, performance, lifecycle, partnerships).
* Set clear goals, processes, and KPIs for each marketing function.
* Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Brand & Positioning
* Own the global brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints.
* Ensure consistency and clarity of brand narrative across markets, products, and channels.
* Elevate Freename’s positioning in both scale‑up and enterprise contexts.
Growth, Performance & Revenue Impact
* Drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention in close collaboration with Sales, Product, and Revenue teams.
* Own marketing performance metrics (CAC, LTV, funnel conversion, pipeline contribution).
* Ensure marketing directly contributes to revenue growth and long‑term scalability.
AI‑Driven & Data‑Led Marketing
* Leverage AI tools and automation to optimize campaigns, content creation, analytics, and workflows.
* Stay ahead of marketing technology trends, adopting best‑in‑class tools and frameworks.
* Build a strong data culture, using insights to guide strategy and execution.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Product, Sales, Partnerships, and Leadership to ensure full alignment.
* Support go‑to‑market strategies for new products and enterprise initiatives.
* Enable Sales with positioning, materials, and insights that improve conversion and deal velocity.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
* 8+ years of experience in Marketing, with senior leadership roles (Head of Marketing, Marketing Director or equivalent).
* Proven experience managing and scaling multi marketing teams (10+ people preferred).
* Strong background in scale‑up and fast‑growing tech companies, with exposure to enterprise markets.
* Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through marketing.
* Deep understanding of modern, AI‑driven marketing practices and tools.
* Experience working with data, performance metrics, and complex funnels.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or platform‑based businesses.
* Exposure to international markets and multi‑country marketing strategies.
* Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution ability.
