We are expanding our capabilities and building a brand new Spray Drying facility, and our first Spray Dryer has just been delivered. /p pWeare hence looking for experienced spray drying professionals and are actively creating a new team. /p pAccountable for the high quality and on-time-delivery of the Spray-Dried-Dispersion manufactured at the Couvet site, the Manager Spray Drying is responsible for overseeing the operation of the manufacturing activities 24hrs, 5 days, and for the optimization of spray drying equipment and processes. /p pThis role ensures that production targets, quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements are consistently met. He will lead a team of operators and technicians, troubleshoot process issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product consistency. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pbMain job responsibilities are as follows: /b /p pbProduction Oversight /b /p ul liLead daily spray drying operations to ensure product quality, yield, and efficiency. /li liMonitor key process parameters (inlet/outlet temperatures, feed rates, moisture levels). /li liEnsure adherence to production schedules. /li /ul pbQuality Control /b /p ul liVerify compliance with product specifications and quality standards. /li liCoordinate with QA/QC teams for sampling, testing, and adjustments. /li liImplement corrective actions in case of deviations. /li /ul pbTeam Supervision /b /p ul liLead and train operators, ensuring safe and effective performance. /li liSchedule shifts and allocate workforce efficiently. /li liFoster teamwork and continuous improvement. /li /ul pbEquipment Maintenance /b /p ul liOversee level first preventive maintenance and cleaning of spray dryer and auxiliary equipment. /li liReport breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs. /li liKeep accurate equipment logs. /li /ul pbSafety and Compliance /b /p ul liEnforce safety protocols and hygiene standards in the drying area. /li liConduct safety briefings and incident investigations. /li liEnsure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. /li /ul pbProcess Optimization /b /p ul liAnalyze data to improve process performance and energy efficiency. /li liParticipate in trials for new formulations or process changes. /li liSuggest innovations to reduce cost and improve product consistency /li /ul pbReporting and Documentation /b /p ul liPrepare daily/weekly production reports and performance KPIs. /li liMaintain accurate batch records and operational logbook /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbProfil requirements /b /p ul li10+yrs experience with Spray Dried Dispersion, ideally with PSD45+yrs experience team management /li liTechnical training in industrial production, chemical processes, industrial pharmacy or equivalent. /li liFamiliarity with process control systems (PLC/SCADA) /li liKnowledge of GMP rules and safety practices in production. /li liProven, hands‑on management experience /li liRigor, sense of organization, analytical spirit and results oriented. /li liGood communication and ability to coordinate with multiple departments, including ability to communicate with management about production issues and achievements. /li liFluency in both French and English is a must /li /ul pAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
