Pp English Language (EL) Program Specialist JobID: 2544 /pulliPosition Type: Teaching and Learning/ Program Specialist /liliDate Posted: 4/27/2026 /liliLocation: District Wide /liliDate Available: 07/06/2026 /li /ulpThe EL Program Specialist is to provide professional development to support teachers and administrators with understanding and implementation of the LDA, SEI models and associated practices for EL instruction. /ph3QUALIFICATIONS /h3ulliMasters Degree in Teaching English As A Second Language or a related field required. /liliValid Arizona English As A Second Language (ESL) or Bilingual Endorsement (preferred). /liliFive years successful experience teaching English Language programs (preferred). /liliBilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). /liliKnowledge and experience in Scientifically Based Research (SBR) instructional strategies and programs. /liliKnowledge of blended learning models (preferred). /liliExperience using a variety of technological tools (preferred). /liliAbility to work collaboratively with all staff. /liliExperience in successful school turnaround efforts (preferred). /liliExperience in Data Analytics (preferred). /li /ulh3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliProvide professional development and training for staff on effective strategies for EL development. /liliProvide assistance to teachers and administrators in analyzing and interpreting EL student data. /liliMonitor the progress students in the EL Program are making on the AZELLA and other State Assessments to support classroom instructional practices. /liliDevelop a plan for increasing the English language proficiency of all students in the EL Program as measured by the AZELLA. /liliSupport classroom teachers in the implementation of EL Best Practices Strategies.
