In Burckhardt Compression, the Systems Division is responsible for all new equipment being developed and offered globally to our customers. This includes a global factory network at five major locations and a team of close to 3'243 colleagues.
For our Swiss entity Burckhardt Compression AG in Winterthur, we are looking for an experienced Controller. In this challenging and varied role, you will report to the Head of Controlling EMEA of the Systems Division and you will work closely with the Contracting organization (Project Management) and the other finance and controlling functions in Winterthur.

Controller Systems Division (f/m/d)
Main responsibilities:
1. Responsible for analysis and forecasting of order (project) related Gross Profit of the Systems Division for the entity Burckhardt Compression AG (BCAG) in close cooperation with the Contracting Organization.
2. Project Controlling for the Systems Division for the entity BCAG: Analysis of revenues and margins of the projects of BCAG (including late costs, provisions, foreign exchange effects, etc.) Monthly closing activities regarding projects (e.g., accruals, provisions, analysis of foreign exchange effects, etc.) Forecasting of revenues and margins and upload of the forecasts in the consolidation tool Cognos Participation in monthly Project Performance Review Meetings Analysis of operational and financial performance (e.g., analysis of WIP, Ad-Hoc analysis)
3. Proactive Business Partner for the Contracting Organization (Project Management): Regular exchange with Business-Stakeholders Support of the Business-Stakeholders in finance/controlling matters
4. Supporting the Head of Controlling EMEA Systems Division in the preparation of the monthly Operation Review Meetings (Preparation of data basis, presentation and commenting the results)
5. Supporting EMEA Controlling on profitability analysis by segment, product line and project
6. Supporting the Head of Controlling EMEA on intercompany reconciliation with other Burckhardt business entities in other locations
7. Participation in strategic projects and initiatives (e.g. Implementation of new SAP-solutions or BI-tools)
8. Driving and supporting process improvements
9. Contact person for the external auditors regarding project financials
10. Mutual deputy with Business Unit Controller BCAG
Your profile
11. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling (University or FH)
12. Several years of experience (5+ years) in project controlling in an industrial company, preferably in mechanical engineering / plant engineering
13. Experience in the implementation of new IT-Tools desirable (e.g. ERP roll-out)
14. Very good SAP knowledge: FI/CO & PS required, SD desirable
15. Very good excel skills
16. S/4HANA knowledge is an asset
17. Power BI knowledge is an asset
18. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
