Responsibilities
* You will be the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, owning and driving technical wins for security opportunities. You will engage with other teams within and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle, supporting sell-with scenarios and partners to scale solution delivery.
* You will leverage your deep technical understanding of Data Security architectures, solutions, and technologies including Microsoft Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, and Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB).
* You will coordinate weekly with sellers and managers to understand opportunities, competitive scenarios, and focus areas, driving to own and win technical decisions.
* You will remediate blockers, lead, and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security and related technologies. You will proactively and independently engage with customers, building credibility as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Security, utilizing customer references, and driving customer intent to adopt solutions, with a handoff to customer success for post-sales deployment.
* You will develop strategies and recommendations to improve clients' data security posture, shape technical win plans, and tailor Microsoft messaging for security opportunities. You will also enhance team capabilities for cloud-native data security patterns and develop differentiated competitive strategies for assigned customers.
* You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions, explaining, demonstrating, and architecting solutions to address customer security challenges.
* You will demonstrate and oversee proof of concepts, present architecture patterns, prove capabilities, and drive support for Microsoft solutions across workloads. You will also coach teams to adapt to new or changing technologies to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
Required qualifications
* Several years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Extensive experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
* Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
* Knowledge of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and understanding of cloud security standards (CIS, NIST, CSA, etc.).
* Passion for learning, implementing, sharing, and evolving technical and professional skills.
Preferred qualifications
* German or French language skills (preferred).
* Certifications in Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Azure Security.
* Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, IAAP, etc. (preferred).
* Experience with SIEM systems, Next-Gen Web Application Firewalls, Threat detection, Log analysis, Incident Response, and cloud security architectures like Zero Trust.
