Overview Cognizant is hiring a French-speaking Senior IT Engineer with manufacturing experience for an on-site role in Bulle, Switzerland. The candidate should have strong IT knowledge and basic experience in manufacturing or automation systems such as Aveva System Platform, Syncade, or Optimu is a plus. The candidate should be highly motivated, innovative, and a self-starter, possessing excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities Provide IT L3 support for the IT side of Manufacturing Applications
Read and understand business User Requirements Specification Documents
Support the execution of system changes and optimisation under site change control
End to end IT incident management
Redact Knowledgebase articles for future incident resolution
Monitoring application health
Proactive and reactive problem management
Create and manage problem tickets
Coordinate end to end problem resolution (Infrastructure, Network, DB & product vendors as appropriate)
Change Management Follow up on change activities
Perform change activities as needed (IQ/OQ tests)
Application Operations & Lifecycle Management Manage application patching (installation, coordination with product vendor)
Create installation procedures as appropriate
Create and manage asset information in CMDB
Manage application accesses (create/modify/disable)
Create/update configuration guide
Requirements Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP (nice to have)
Minimum over 10+ years relevant industry experience
Pharma industry experience preferred but not essential
