Overview We are recruiting for our client a temporary business controller, quickly available, for a mission that will last several months.
Client Details Our client is a leading company in its industry and is based in Geneva.
Responsibilities Participate to the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes
Analyze financial results, variances, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights
Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations for senior leadership
Collaborate closely with operational, commercial, and corporate teams to support strategic and operational decisions
Challenge assumptions and ensure financial rigor across all business initiatives
Support month‑end closing activities in coordination with accounting teams
Contribute to audit processes and internal control assessments
Drive continuous improvement of financial and reporting processes
Ensure high‑quality data, efficient workflows, and reliable reporting tools
Lead or participate in projects related to automation and digitalization (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, workflow optimization)
Promote standardization and simplification of controlling practices across the organization
Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in audit, controlling, or FP&A
Proven experience in managing financial processes, reporting, and performance analysis
Solid analytical and data‑driven mindset, with the ability to structure models and interpret financial trends
Automation and digital competencies appreciated
Comfortable working with large datasets and process optimization
Agile, committed, and autonomous with a strong continuous improvement mindset
Strong sense of ownership and reliability in delivering high‑quality outputs
Capacity to challenge constructively and act as a trusted business partner
Excellent communication skills, able to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
Fluency in English and French
