As part of Synthetic Molecules Technical Development, this role focuses on the analytical development of small-molecule pharmaceuticals from early-stage development through to commercialization. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of phase-appropriate analytical control strategies for pharmaceutical dosage forms, including active ingredients and intermediates.
Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods (e.g., HPLC/UHPLC with multiple detection techniques such as UV, MS, fluorescence, CAD).
Coordinate cross-functional analytical activities, ensuring complete and compliant documentation, data generation, and stability study execution.
Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders, including process development, QA, Technical Regulatory Affairs, and external partners.
Coach and mentor technicians, acting as a central project contact for analytical-related inquiries and decision-making.
Must-Have Qualifications
Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field, with a strong academic and technical foundation in analytical sciences.
Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally within analytical development.
Hands-on expertise in HPLC/UHPLC and a range of detection methods (UV, MS, fluorescence, CAD).
Thorough understanding of GMP, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements across development phases.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a goal-oriented, open-minded mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
