Position: An exciting opportunity to join the Finance, Audit, Accounting and Control Business Unit of the bank. Ideal for an experienced auditor seeking a new challenge and ready to step into a Lead Auditor role. In this position, you will conduct end-to-end audits with a strong focus on risk, treasury, trading, or investment products. You'll have the opportunity to independently plan, execute, and report on audits while acting as a strategic partner to management. Key Responsibilities: - Leading end-to-end audits, including planning, execution, and timely communication of findings - Preparing clear, concise, and impactful audit reports - Acting as a trusted advisor to management - Overseeing the implementation of audit recommendations - Drafting statements for senior leadership, including the Head of Group Internal Audit, the Board of Directors, or other decision-makers - Contributing to special investigations and project work - Serving as a Subject Matter Expert within the audit team Profile: - Relevant higher/banking education, with a strong background in banking, finance, or auditing (CIA, CPA or similar preferred) - 5 years' experience auditing in banking or a financial services audit firm a must - Deep knowledge of at least one of the following: Risk, Treasury, Trading, or Investment Products - Strong IT skills and banking software - Fluent in German and English, with strong written communication in English; French or Spanish a plus but not a must - Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with a high sense of integrity and responsibility - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize and address complex issues effectively - Available to work full-time (no home office); happy to travel occasionally (up to 25%) - Eligible or already in possession of a Swiss passport or Swiss work permit and happy to be based in Basel Why apply? - This opportunity is ideal for an audit professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, international environment with a strong team spirit and entrepreneurial culture Branche: Beratung Funktion: Buchführung / Bankwesen / Finanzwesen
