Job Description:
Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics (formerly Marken, MNX & Polar Speed), the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, unites expertise across healthcare and complex secure logistics to drive the success of our clients through innovation.
Main Purpose:
To collect and deliver consignments as per required time lines within Switzerland and neighbouring countries within close border proximity.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Driver
* Transport consignments in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable regulations
* Responsible for the assigned MARKEN vehicle which include:
* Securing of the consignments in the vehicle's cargo area during transportation
* Interior and exterior cleaning to maintain an impeccable standard of cleanliness
* Assuring vehicle is kept in a safe operating condition at all times by:
* Conducting of regular vehicle checks
* Adhering to the vehicle maintenance plan
* Assist clients at collection and delivery with loading and unloading.
* Route plan calculation that allow for collections and deliveries within required time lines.
* Communicate with the MARKEN Dispatch team regarding:
* Consignment Collections/Consignment Deliveries/Delays/Discrepancies
* Communicate clearly and precisely with the client at collection or delivery.Complete all documentation accurately and legibly and pass to the correct departments on return to the office. This includes having the waybills signed by the clients.
* Follow instructions as provided.
General
* Partake in all training sessions set forth by MARKEN.
* Adhere to all MARKEN Policies and Procedures at all times.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties at the request of the Line Manager or Branch Manager.
