DATABASE TECHNICIAN - DISTRICTWIDE
SCSD2 is seeking dependable individuals to work in a full-time, temporary positions through the summer to complete an asset management project for the Facilities Department. This position will work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday until the project is complete (May through August is anticipated).
HOURLY WAGE: $17.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Must maintain a valid driver's license.
REPORTS TO:Facilities Support Technician
JOB GOAL: The Database Technician will be responsible foridentifying, labeling and entering physical assets from school district buildings into a database. The Technician ensures that all facilities data is accurate and current to support asset management.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Apply QR code labels to approximately 4,000 assets in buildings
* Confirm the accuracy of data already collected, update data, and take photos as needed
* Upload data daily to ensure capture of information is complete
* Meet completion milestones based on the project schedule
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
* Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently, efficiently, and responsibly with direction from a supervisor
* High proficiency in keyboarding and voice to text
* Proficient with using an iPad regularly
* Adhere to safe climbing practices
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Access spaces where assets are present. This includes climbing in tight spaces, removing ceiling panels, climbing step ladders, using lifts, and climbing onto roofs through access hatches and ladders.
* Ability to walk, stand, maneuver in tight spaces, crouch, and climb throughout each day
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is a temporary, seasonal position for the summer. Employment cannot exceed six months.
