Aufgaben
Managing international structuring projects for innovative investment fund structures for institutional and private investors / As project leader development of term sheets, agreements, memoranda and side letters for fund structures / Oversee marketing materials and user-defined products for institutional clients / Dealing with legal, regulatory, operational and project management aspects for every product launch / Review of regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, MiFID, etc.), and participation in marketing meetings / Oversee registrations of investment products tailored to local legislation and regulations / Responsible for the maintenance of investment products and the related processes / Responsible for further developing the company's expertise in structuring investment products by differentiating the business and processes for the structuring service catalogue / Ongoing research into legal and regulatory issues and promoting co-operation between the interfaces to the operational teams / Leading and managing external law firms and service providers / Ad hoc projects.
Qualifikation
Qualified lawyer / Relevant work experience at a top law or consulting firm, bank or asset manager / Professional experience in the fund industry, ideally in the area of private markets investments / International work experience with e.g. Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, Guernsey investment funds / In-depth knowledge of the AIFMD and MiFID regulations for investment funds / Familiarity with fund structures for various fund products / Experience in negotiating with institutional investors and pension funds (pension plans / Solvency II) / Generalist knowledge in the field of taxes (e.g. FATCA, CRS) and competence to consider different tax aspects with the tax specialists / Ability to lead projects with internal and external stakeholders / Interest in the ongoing review of legal documents / Eloquent communication in the relationship with various contact persons / English (fluent) and German skills an advantage.
