This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Motion Designer in Switzerland.
In this role, you will take ownership of defining and evolving motion design across both product and brand experiences. You will play a key part in transforming complex digital workflows into intuitive, engaging visual interactions, while also crafting compelling marketing content that communicates value clearly. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams, you will establish motion principles, build scalable systems, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints. Accountabilities: Lead the creation of high-quality motion design assets for both product and marketing initiatives, including videos, UI animations, and campaign visuals
Design and implement micro-interactions, transitions, onboarding flows, and other interface animations that enhance usability and user experience
Develop and maintain a cohesive motion design system, including principles such as timing, easing, and responsiveness
Collaborate closely with product designers and engineers to deliver production-ready animations aligned with technical constraints
Translate visual identity into a consistent motion language across product, web, and marketing channels
Optimize animations for performance across platforms and devices
Act as the subject matter expert for motion design, ensuring consistency and intentionality across all outputs
Requirements: 3–5+ years of professional experience in motion design, ideally across both product/UI and marketing contexts
Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, visual consistency, and high-quality motion work
Solid understanding of animation principles and their application in digital products
Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma
Familiarity with modern motion technologies (e.g., Lottie, Framer Motion, CSS animations); experience with Rive is a plus
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, especially engineers
Strong organizational skills and the ability to take full ownership of motion design initiatives
Bonus: experience with 3D tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) or background in fintech/B2B SaaS environments
