Portfolio Product Manager
Location: Zug, Switzerland (hybrid model)
Part-time: 60%
Initially, this is a part-time role (60%), but it may become full-time in the first few months if you are open to it.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Marketing Manager Switzerland, you will support the local marketing team and contribute to growing our brands.
* Develop the long-term portfolio strategy for our two local brands, McCormick and Butty, in the Herbs & Spices (H&S) and Baking categories.
* Lead the brand portfolio optimization, renovation, and innovation from idea to market, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the EMEA region.
* Draw conclusions, make recommendations, and develop short- and long-term action plans.
* Participate in growth initiatives across categories such as H&S, Baking, Ethnic Food, and Sauces.
* Analyze market data and performance metrics (e.g., Nielsen), maintaining a broad understanding of category, brand, and competitor performance.
* In partnership with the H&S Brand Manager, initiate new business development projects, including partnerships and collaborations.
* Engage actively in regular business reviews with distributors and partners.
* Work closely with the H&S Brand Manager, potentially taking on tasks as deputy.
* Be an active member of the European Marketing community.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Master's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, preferably with a marketing focus.
* Relevant experience in a similar role; FMCG experience is a plus but not required.
* Strong analytical skills and quick comprehension.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade.
* Ability to build relationships in a matrix, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
* High responsibility, initiative, results-driven, and hands-on approach.
* Organizational skills and meticulous work style.
* Fluent in German and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
