Job Description:
This role will play a pivotal part in mitigating liability risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for our clients. You will be responsible for managing complex liability portfolios, providing expert advice, and negotiating favorable terms with insurance carriers.
* Risk Management Expertise: Analyzing client risk exposures and developing customized liability insurance solutions.
* Complex Portfolio Management: Conducting thorough risk assessments and recommending appropriate coverage options.
* Negotiation Skills: Collaborating with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms and pricing.
* Jr. Broker Support: Providing guidance to junior brokers and assisting in their professional development.
* Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Industry Knowledge: Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to provide proactive risk management solutions.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Insurance Education: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in brokerage, with a focus on liability insurance.
* Portfolio Management: Proven track record of successfully managing complex liability portfolios and delivering innovative risk management solutions.
* Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and underwriting principles.
* Negotiation and Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Time Management: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) preferred.
* Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance brokerage software.
