Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a:
Experienced QC Analyst – Physico-Chemical Testing
for a contract roleof 12-months, with possibility of extension,based in the Basel, Switzerland.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing drug product (DP) batch release, stability testing, and related physico-chemical assays in a cGMP-regulated environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the testing of biologics and large molecules, supporting key pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Performing routine and validation physico-chemical assays for biologics/large molecules following cGMP and SOPs.
* Ensuring all testing is performed in a timely, accurate, and GDP-compliant manner.
* Conducting and reviewing basic lab operations.
* Supporting lab equipment troubleshooting and proactively contribute to investigations and risk mitigation strategies.
* Maintaining lab cleanliness, managing inventory/consumables, and ensuring audit readiness per 6S and cGMP standards.
* Actively engaging in and contributing to laboratory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
* Educational background in life sciences.
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience in analytical quality testing in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
* Proven experience working in a cGMP-regulated QC environment with advanced scientific knowledge of physico-chemical analytics.
* Strong proficiency with Empower 3.7 software (Power User level).
* Skilled in interpreting and documenting scientific data and test results.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
