On behalf of a client based in Geneva, we are seeking a System Engineer with native-level proficiency in French and very good knowledge of English.
Key responsibilities include:
* Administer and maintain the firm's IT systems (Windows and Linux servers, virtualization solutions, storage solutions).
* Administer and maintain all network equipment (LAN, WAN, etc.).
* Provide level 3 support for all systems and train IT support teams.
* Monitor infrastructure elements related to backups.
* Participate in and manage projects related to migrations to new technologies.
* Maintain and develop the configuration of network and telecommunications equipment.
* Optimize the performance and availability of Microsoft environments.
* Write the documentation and procedures necessary for system operation.
This is a full-time position (100%), with approximately 20% remote work flexibility.
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar position (excluding internships and training).
* Proficiency in Microsoft On Premises and Cloud environments and products (Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint).
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL databases.
* Excellent knowledge of VMware and Citrix environments.
* Excellent knowledge of Powershell scripting for automation.
* Very good knowledge of storage and backup solutions.
* Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Intune.
* French C2, Englisch C1
* University degree in computer science or equivalent.
