We are seeking a seasoned sales and P&L leader to oversee our operations in the European region, while fostering the development and engagement of a high-performing team.
Europe is part of BRP's International Division, encompassing dealer direct markets across France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, Italy, Spain, Benelux, and Austria.
This region presents significant growth potential, particularly with the introduction of our new 2-wheel electric motorcycle, where Europe represents a substantial opportunity.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Develop and implement a business strategy for BRP in European Dealer Direct Markets, monitoring and reviewing progress against the strategy and adapting as required. Identify new business opportunities.
* Manage European Dealer Direct P&L, achieving territory wholesale, retail, PA&A, Network Development, and market share objectives through leadership of the territory and management of the team.
* Provide clear priorities and work direction to direct or indirect teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and BRP Values. Lead, mobilize, and develop a high-performing team. Manage performance and development of the team.
* Oversee the risk management of the region, ensuring a strict respect of internal policies, including Authority and limits Policy and code of Ethics. Escalate issues as required.
* Ensure an optimal network coverage in the region, development of new dealers, and growth within existing markets while upgrading network quality in line with BRP image requirements.
* Ensure that marketing, go-to-market, and dealer development initiatives are effectively implemented in the assigned territory to ensure retail objectives are met.
* Nurture strong relationships with partners, both internally and externally.
* Work with international and regional management teams, as well as global stakeholders, to align processes and create a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
You will thrive in this role if you possess the following skills and qualities:
* A minimum of 15 years' commercial experience in automotive, powersports, 2-wheels, or retail environment in a multi-country region in Europe.
* Proven expertise in managing a P&L with a strong retail focus and experience in managing and developing a network in a highly matricial environment.
* Proven track record of delivering on expectations.
* Ability to develop a strong strategic plan and actions to deliver it.
* Fluent English, with French and/or another European language being a strong asset.
* Demonstrate keen business instincts, business acumen, and strategic thinking. Stay close to data and financial literacy.
* Ability to navigate complexity, creating the future. Capacity to thrive under pressure, handle ambiguity, and be a strong problem solver.
* Go-getter and entrepreneurial mindset, thinking outside the box while taking full accountability for end results in a matrix environment with direct and indirect reporting lines.
