Founded in 1924, the Foundation of the International School of Geneva, commonly known as Ecolint, educates 4500 students aged 3-18 from over 130 nationalities. Our eight schools focus on developing seven global competencies essential for the future, including lifelong learning, self-agency, and multiliterate thinking. All three campuses are seeking to fill the following position for the 2025-2026 school year:
Teacher of Danish
Part-time: 4 hours in the WLP (World Language Programme)
We are seeking a passionate Danish Teacher for our WLP programme. The ideal candidate will inspire students through creative teaching styles and report to the WLP Coordinator.
Responsibilities
1. Teach Danish as a foreign or native language across all levels.
2. Participate in regular department meetings.
3. Assess student progress regularly, maintain records, and report results to parents.
Candidate Requirements
1. Strong experience teaching Danish in IB settings.
2. Experience in an international school environment is preferable.
3. Native proficiency in Danish.
4. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
5. Ability to manage resources effectively to support teaching and learning.
6. Proficiency in French and English.
7. Commitment to curriculum entitlement and progression for all students.
8. Good communication skills with colleagues and parents.
