As a Senior Accountant with a strong focus on client operations youll be at the heart of our financial activities in Switzerland. From issuing invoices and navigating Swiss VAT rules to analyzing project profitability and supporting closings you make sure our creative magic is always backed by solid numbers. Youre precise organized and love details but you also enjoy teaming up with colleagues and making finance feel a lot more fun.
What youll be doing
* Prepare and send client invoices (contracts quotes VAT compliance).
* Monitor payments manage reminders and handle billing disputes with professionalism (and a smile).
* Keep client accounts accurate and reconciled.
* Analyze project profitability (P&L per client / project) and provide insights that matter.
* Support monthly and annual closings including preparation of client provisions.
* Work hand-in-hand with project teams and group finance to streamline and improve processes.
Must haves
(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)
* 5 years of accounting experience with a strong background in Accounts Receivable .
* Solid knowledge of Swiss VAT regulations and accounting practices.
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting tools (Sage Oracle or similar).
* Fluent in written and spoken French & English (No scrambled oeufs at egg svp.).
* Rigor precision and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
* A valid work permit in the country where the position is based.
Nice to haves
* Proficiency in German (in addition to English and French).
* Experience in the event industry.
