Job Description
The Production and Customer Quality Manager (f/m/d) is responsible for organizing and managing the Production and Customer Quality team. This role involves implementing and controlling the factory and company Quality policy in the areas of production, service, and customer interaction-related processes. The primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve the Unit’s development targets.
What you’ll do
* Lead both technically and disciplinarily a team
* Define and manage team priorities, drive improvement initiatives, and coach and mentor the team
* Define and implement control plans
* Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
* Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance
* Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
* Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
* Implement Return of Experience from Erection & Commissioning
* Perform Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for customer-related issues
* Ensure service processes align with quality standards
* Monitor and improve service-related quality metrics
* Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), First Pass Yield (FPY) and ACT Say–Do ratio (ACT SDR)
What you’ll bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
* Fluency in German and English is a must
* Significant experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment
* Proven experience in managing a team and implementing quality policies
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
* Experience with statistical process control and data analysis (e.g. MiniTab)
* Willingness to travel (5%–10%) as needed to support customer and factory requirements. Please apply only if you meet the international travel and visa requirements associated with this role
