Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee month-end closing activities in line with Accounting
2. Standards, including coordination with consolidation, manufacturing, transfer pricing, tax, and inventory teams
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Internal Control, Tax, VAT, and Treasury
4. Coordinate with Global Delivery Operations teams in Lisbon and Kuala Lumpur to ensure smooth execution of processes
5. Drive process improvements, simplification, and automation initiatives and support the finance team in Singapore
6. Partner closely with the Tax team on income tax reporting, including deferred tax calculations and forecasting
7. Review complex agreements to ensure accurate accounting treatment
8. Oversee payroll accounting, including expatriate and inpatriate recharges
9. Perform account reconciliations using Blackline and resolve outstanding items
10. Ensure accurate inventory, fixed asset, and transfer pricing accounting, and support audits and financial reporting (Swiss GAAP and IFRS)
Profile
11. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with relevant experience
12. Strong expertise in accounting and financial reporting
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
14. Solid presentation and stakeholder management skills
15. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and functions
16. Good understanding and practical application of US GAAP and Swiss GAAP
17. High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards and compliance
18. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
19. Proactive mindset with the ability to think outside the box
20. Self-driven, resilient, and able to work independently with a strong stakeholder focus
