Background
As part of PTDS Global Clinical Supply Chain Management, the Production Enablement function ensures that packaging operations can produce material required by Roche's clinical trials seamlessly, on-time, and while optimizing cost/quality. Within Production Enablement the Global Clinical Order Management team is responsible for preparing any kind of packaging orders that will be produced at our clinical packaging facilities in Kaiseraugst and South San Francisco.
The perfect candidate
Experience in Clinical Supply Chain management, ideally clinical order management, including SAP knowledge – very good collaborator, strong communicator, likes to work operationally, achieves results by taking ownership, pays attention to detail. GMP mindset and able to manage Veeva records, e.g. document management, deviation management, CAPAs, Planned Events/Changes, Risk records, inspection management and/or willing to learn record management in Veeva Lean mindset – experience in leading continuous improvement projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Manage in‑house packaging orders and drive the “on‑time in‑full” delivery of Investigational Medicinal Products.
* Be accountable for the set‑up of Standard Packaging Designs in cooperation with the Clinical Supply Chain Lead (CSCL), other Production Enablement teams, Master Data Deployment team, Packaging Operations, and Quality Units.
* Manage operational issues and discrepancies with Quality Units. Escalate any major in‑house packaging‑related issue with impact to the end‑to‑end timeline to the CSCL.
* Enable the Medication Randomization process for blinded studies.
Must Haves
* 3+ years of experience in the clinical supply chain management area
* Bachelor degree in relevant field
* ERP system experience, e.g. SAP, OMP or APO
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English language
Nice to Have
* Six Sigma/Lean experience and training
