For one of our clients, a well-established commodity trading company headquartered in Geneva, we are seeking to recruit an EMEA Controller.
Your mission:
* Own controlling and financial reporting for the Swiss entity and selected EMEA entities.
* Lead the month-end close, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
* Prepare statutory accounts and group reporting packages under Swiss regulations, IFRS, and Swiss GAAP.
* Coordinate Swiss tax compliance and act as a key contact for auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.
* Improve reporting processes, internal controls, and accounting tools.
* Support a small regional team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Your profile:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
* 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, or accounting in an international and ideally multi-entity environment.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, Swiss GAAP, Swiss tax, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.
* Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements.
* Strong ERP / GL systems and Excel skills.
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, on-site international environment.
