For our client, a global leading life science company, we are currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to take ownership of automation systems within a critical production environment. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role where you will ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of automation systems in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting. Your role Act as the technical owner for automation systems in a key production area Ensure system reliability, availability, and long-term maintainability Support and lead commissioning, upgrades, and improvement projects Troubleshoot complex issues across PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial networks Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams Coordinate with external suppliers and system integrators Ensure compliance with GMP, validation, and data integrity requirements Drive continuous improvement and optimization of automation systems Your profile Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field Several years of experience in industrial automation Strong expertise in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and process control systems Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated environments is highly desirable Good understanding of GMP, validation (IQ/OQ), and change control Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex systems Fluent in French, with good knowledge of English
