Overview
Manufacturing System Engineer - IT/OT vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharmaceutical sector.
Responsibilities
* Manage the full life cycle of the MES system.
* Maintain and adjust master data in automation systems per MES SOPs.
* Support change management, qualification, and validation activities in line with guidelines.
* Perform root cause analysis, ensure compliance, and monitor business errors (ITSM).
* Create and update MES documentation (SOPs).
* Train new employees on MES systems.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and related regulations.
* Collaborate with MES, support, and business teams to improve processes.
Your experience/knowledge
* Completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing system processes and administration.
* Proven GxP and CSV knowledge (Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5).
* Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and Veeva.
* Working knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
* Language skills: Fluent German and good English.
