We are seeking an experienced Technical Scrum Master & DevOps Practitioner to join our Agile team in the Global Products & Solutions (GPS) domain. In this dual-role capacity, you will be responsible for facilitating and coaching cross-functional teams in adopting and implementing SAFe principles, while also driving robust DevOps practices to enable continuous integration, automated testing, and reliable release pipelines.
YOUR CHALLENGE
1. Facilitate Agile & SAFe Execution: Coach Scrum teams in the GPS domain to effectively adopt SAFe principles and Agile practices, including Sprint and PI planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
2. Enable High-Performing Teams: Empower teams to self-organise, prioritise work, and continuously improve through Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), process optimisation, automation, and waste reduction
3. Remove Impediments & Drive Delivery: Proactively identify and resolve blockers impacting team velocity, escalating critical issues to leadership when needed
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with Product Owners, development teams, Test Management, and wider stakeholders to align on ART initiatives, track progress, and ensure transparency
5. Scale Agility Across Organisations: Collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters, POs, and leaders to promote agile maturity, consistency, and a culture of innovation and collaboration
6. Drive our automation effort by proposing and developing scripts
7. Manage configuration, packaging and deployments of application components based on software and documentation delivered by developers
8. Drive the onboarding of our application to common platforms (e.g. Observability Testing Framework, CI/CD platform)
9. Be a driver for standardization and automation within the GPS domain and foster the engineering culture within your team
10. As part of a highly collaborative team, contribute to the future Software Solutions strategy
YOUR PROFILE
11. 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent role
12. Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
13. Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams
14. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
15. Certification in SAFe, such as SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Practitioner (SP)
16. Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
17. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as Azure
18. Understanding of the technology stack required to maintain a successful and well-working environment, including:
Familiarity with relevant technologies and systems used in the GPS ART
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experiences of successfully delivering Software projects
19. Linux administration background: software packages, text processing, filesystem management, maintaining environments, logfile investigations
20. Scripting skills: Unix/Linux commands, bash, Python
21. Hands-on CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, Octopus, Maven, or similar
22. Cloud experience: Kubernetes, Azure Application Platform (e.g. AKS), distributed architectures
23. Broad understanding of the Markets flow, with a good understanding of products provided by the GPS ART, including knowledge of market data, trading platforms, and risk management systems
Additional preferred qualifications:
24. Familiarity with using Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, Websocket)
25. Experience with configuration of middleware such as Kafka and Websphere MQ
26. User-level knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, ElasticSearch, OpenTelemetry)
27. Development background (ideally Java)
