Gemmological Trainer 80% - 100% We are seeking a Gemmological Trainer with strong gemmological knowledge and a passion for gemstones, jewellery, and teaching. You will deliver training internationally, develop educational content, and share expertise with diverse audiences. Deliver gemmology courses at all levels, including international training (travel required) Develop and update teaching materials, presentations and learning resources aligned with industry standards Deliver Gem Talks, presentations, and workshops for external companies Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce gemmological content for communications, press materials, and publications Create digital content to enhance Academy visibility and marketing initiatives (social media, videos, promotional assets) Represent the company and build strong external relationships Support the development and curation of the Academy's gemstone reference collection Contribute to museum exhibitions, educational projects and the Gübelin Archive Conduct private museum tours and workshops (if based in Switzerland) Support Academy strategy and international development Help build and maintain an active Academy community Assist with course administration, including registraition, scheduling and materials preparation Requirements Gemmological degree (GIA, FGA, DUG, or equivalent) Minimum 2 years' experience in the gem or jewellery industry Experience in teaching, presenting, or client-facing roles Fluent in English (spoken and written) German and other languages are a plus Relevant academic background is an advantage Strong communication and presentation skills Passion for gems and jewellery Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Independent, flexible, and willing to travel Culturally aware, reliable, and a team player Benefits Gübelin pension fund Seniority allowances Support for individual training and development Free beverages Attractive vacation entitlement Additional bridge days jid00f65a0a jit0519a jiy26a
