Desired Profile
- HES nurse training or deemed equivalent
- Proven experience in team management as well as ICUS training (proximity management or CAS in management)
- Several years of practice in long-term care
- Training in psychogeriatrics, palliative care, clinical assessment or PF would be an asset
- Strong clinical skills and ability to support teams in nursing decision-making
- Knowledge of common management tools, notably Carefolio-LT
- Mastery of the interRAI LTCF assessment instrument
- Proven organisational skills, recognised leadership with good communication abilities
Main Tasks
- Ensure the clinical leadership of the care unit and guarantee the quality, safety and continuity of services provided to residents
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the resident support concept
- Manage, plan and coordinate the human resources activity of the care unit
- Supervise and participate in the mentoring of students, apprentices and trainees
- Participate in the development of quality policy
- Actively collaborate with network partners in an interdisciplinary spirit
- Contribute to the development of the integrated management system (IMS)
